To give you a bit of background on the brand, CaseApp offers laptop skins as well as phone cases (not just iPhone), both customizable as well as pre-made designs. If you are wanting to customize a case/skin, but feel like you’re not very tech saavy (like me!), I assure you, you don’t need to worry at all because their website is very user friendly.
I chose a pre-made design for my MacBook Air (Brushstrokes), but decided I want my phone case to be a bit more fun and personal, so I started with a clean canvas (shown above) and uploaded an image I designed on my phone using the apps, Unfold & Lightroom CC. You can also add cliparts to your design to make the case more you!
PS – You don’t have to upload an image, you can totally build your custom design from scratch on their site (background colour, text, cliparts, etc.), I just chose to upload.
In terms of the quality of the products – The phone case material options are matte & glossy; I chose the matte finish and I am so happy I did! I don’t see any scratches on my case yet and the print quality is very nice and clean, no blurriness. The MacBook skin is just the cherry on top – it is such a fun design and I have gotten asked so many times where it is from. It’s also nice having that extra protection!
If you are conflicted with a gift idea, this is a good option because of the fact that it is customizable so it adds more meaning behind the gift and makes it a bit more personal.
