Shop & Shout – A Social Marketplace

Hi everyone! Recently I have discovered an incredible Vancouver & San Fransisco based company that allows micro influencers to connect & collaborate with some great local brands. Who are we talking about today? Shop and Shout! They are an easily accessible  social marketplace that is focused on some of today’s hottest trends – health/wellness, food, and beauty. Did I mention that they also give back to the community? A classroom with supplies/student aid is provided for every brand & every 5000 influencers that joins the Shop and Shout marketplace!

So, what exactly can Shop and Shout do for YOU? Let me explain exactly how it works:

There are a variety of products/services that Shop and Shout offers influencers, such as:

Essentially, each of the above product or service requires you to have a number of social media (i.e. Facebook, twitter & Instagram) followers. If you meet those requirements, you are automatically qualified to receive it for FREE!

All you have to do is…

1. Log in via Facebook, where you will verify your twitter and Instagram, and update your profile by selecting your personal interests;
2. Once you have found the perfect product or service for you, add to cart;
3. update your credit card information* and check out – it is as simple as that!

*Now, you may be thinking, why do I need to add my credit card info? The only reason for this is to ensure that Shop and Shout members are being honest; The credit card is only charged if you do not complete the required shout-out, so if you follow through on your part, you will get it free– when does that ever happen these days? 🙂

 

What now? Well, after you have successfully checked out, that product or service is all yours! The product will be shipped out to you within 1 business week, or if you have picked out an awesome service, call to book your appointment/reservation. Enjoy!

 

Finally, you review & follow the brand’s requirements, and create your shout-out! What are the requirements? They include specific hashtags/keywords, Instagram tags, and a specific timeline, typically within 24 hours of receiving the product/service. Essentially, this entire process is a simple exchange for social exposure!

 

 

Word of mouth marketing is in my opinion the most natural way to go, which is why it is so essential in today’s world of business. Companies are looking for individuals like YOU to help advocate their product(s)/service(s) and get the word out on the latest technology, the latest beauty product, the best restaurant in town – you get the gist!
